Dance Practice: Party Like It’s 1499!
April 2nd marks our first regular dance practice meeting – just in time for Coronation! Bring a water bottle or Other Beverage, a snack to share if you like, and join us for dance practice. Absolutely NO dance experience necessary – we will start from the beginning. Our goal is to get comfortable with the dances you will most likely run into at an Atlantian ball, and any other dances the participants request. Come one, come all – we’re sure to have some hilarity along the way.
Buckston will hold dance practice the first week of every month from April to at least November. Jump in anytime – you don’t have to be a Buckstonite and you do not have to attend all the lessons!
If you have any questions, please contact Aesa Kottr on facebook or by email at dance [at] buckston.windmastershill.org.
Michel Almond de Champagne will be conducting a demo on how to make Turn Shoes
We’ll be making poster board signage for the upcoming Renaissance Faire Demo April 27th.
The Mabinogion is a glimpse into the types of stories that were told in medieval Wales. Eleven Welsh tales written down between the end of the 11c and beginning of the 14th c that, to us, would read as fairytales. A wonderful way to learn medieval Welsh story telling taught by lady Gwenhwyfar Weal.
Dinner Outing!!!
WE WILL NOT BE MEETING AT THE CHURCH!!!
I will up date where we are going once we decide.
