During the last year we have acquired some newcomers virtually attending our weekly meetings.  We thought it was time to have an orientation to the SCA and answer basic questions and get ideas for future meetings from those folks just now entering our wonderful world of medieval reenactment.

We’ll be meeting in person going forward. We will also be making our weekly meetings hybrid. Our zoom room will be available if folks aren’t able to come in person.

There are restrictions due to COVID-19 CDC guidelines.

Folks that are 2 years old and over that are unvaccinated are required to wear a mask.

Food and beverages must be prepackaged. No open containers (ie dayboard). If individual packages shared – it’s at y’all’s own risk. Bring your own drinks.

Also, our site is alcohol free.

Please note: We are required to collect contact information from all attendees for CDC purposes only, in the event there is an illness incident.

Where: United Methodist Church, 130 W Tryon St, Hillsborough, NC 27278
Park the the parking lot on N Wake St. We’ll be meeting in the back room – single door entrance to the left of the double doors.

From your Thrown Weapons Marshal I bring you greetings. On Aug. 30th, I will be opening up a thrown weapons practice at my home. It will be an official practice, I however will not have Royal Rounds set up just yet. If interested the details are below.

3408 Cranbrook Dr. Fayetteville, NC 28301

Time:

5 pm till dark

Just follow the sign around back. You’ll be looking for the only place that has a flag pole. Hope to see many there.

<Tonight we'll cover how to use the least amount of fabric to make a basic tunic that covers most of our medieval period and a vast swath of regions throughout our Knowne World (the countries we currently represent from that time period).
