New to Kingdom and Barony from Atenveldt

Greetings to all. Just moved here from AZ, well actually we arrived on Thanksgiving day, so we have been here for a while.
Have begun to miss the strangely dressed folk on the weekends and in the middle of week, so decided ait was about time I found some. I'm just outside the Clayton area, by Archer Lodge and Flower's Plantation and don't really know where I belong. I used to having 3 FP's a week to chose from, and an event every weekend within 100 miles. So this is a bit lonely so far.
Looking forward to making new friends, while enjoying this beautiful weather.

Danielle I'm from AZ - Scottsdale and a Wildcat. Did you know Brigid, mundane name- Annette- she used to be queen years ago of i think tis ca-th-ear ( i can't spell it- tucson area)? She's up in DC now.
i've been in raleigh 4 5 yrs now...i like it. i'm looking forward to participating in some events. i'm also a middle scool teacher at leesville - if anyone wants to talk to some ss classes about the midle ages....

We just did a Demo for Leesville Middle 6th grade right before christmas. We asked that team to please contact us in August or earlier so we can try to do a another demo next year possibly with horses. My thought as a retired teacher was just let us know when would be a good time with your schedule once you start school, and we can work with that. Current Atenveldter / Possible Future Atlantian
Greetings Danielle, Brenna and all others who read this post,
I am currently still in the Barony of Tir Ysgithr in the Kingdom of Atenveldt and am possibly (with any luck) going to be moving to the Fayettewille / Ft. Bragg area, I am doing my phone interview with the base DPW next Wednesday the 24th. I'm not sure what my living arangements will be yet, just my wife and a fuzzy child all the non-fuzzy ones have grown and moved on to having their own famlies, but that is still a future thing. I have a friend of mine Lord Vallawulf assisting me in finding out as much as we can about the area. With luck we will all soon be neighbors.
Brenna, I know Briged and she is one heck of a lady, she was actually our Baroness, I just saw her last week at Estrella War.

Welcome! The closest group to you would either be Elvegast in Raleigh or Nimenfeld in Fuquay.
Their web sites give you the details of their fighter practices and meetings. In addition there is the Baronial fighter practice and meeting, which I believe is the last weekend in January this month.
Upcoming is the Tournament of Ymir which is the Baronial Birthday event, and one of the two longest continually running events in Atlantia.
