Hi everyone!
I dabbled with the SCA about 10 years ago, right around the time Raven's Cove was being established as a group, but I had to leave due to less-than-favorable circumstances in my life.
I've since come into more favorable circumstances and moved to Lenoir County but it would seem that's part of the Crown Lands, so I poked around and found that Windmaster's Hill encompasses Wayne County (the next county over), but I couldn't find a canton in that area. Does anyone have any information to share in regards to the nearest local group to me?

Group In Wayne County

Sorry it has been a week
Sorry it has been a week since my last post, but I will email you all the info once I get back from Pennsic. There are a ouple of other people interested in the same thing. We are going to have another get together on the 17th of August. I will keep you informed.

I was a little concerned there wouldn't be anyone near Goldsboro...
I came from a very active SCA group in Trimaris, and I want nothing more to get right back into the society up here.
I'm not sure the population required for active land, but I can add at least 2 to the total in Wayne county almost immediately.

Lenoir county does land in Crown lands which is great and not so great!.
It is great because you definately get to chose who you play with. And not so great because you will be travelling to play where ever you do.
Windmasters Historically has stoped at 95 and east of 95 has been the coastal groups But that is Historically... Come on out and play in Windmasters if you want.
our next barional meeting is July 19th at carolina pines park off of Lake Wheeler Road.
