
Pre-Pennsic Brewing Days
We will be holding three brewing days prior to Pennsic. These should be timed to provide beers and ales that are primed for Pennsic. We will also be teaching, cordialing and generally socializing during the day.
In order to handle each of the three main stages of brewing, we have scheduled three days:
June 7 - Brewing the initial wort
June 20 - Racking the wort into secondary fermentation
July 18 - Bottling
The final stage, drinking, will be up to each brewer. For our parts, His Excellency & I are planning to do that at Pennsic.
Each day will start at 11am at my & Lukas' house. We will have propane burners and brew pots - though more would be useful, so if you have please bring them.
Please bring your ingredients and recipe. A good local source is American Brewmaster in Raleigh. If you need consulting on a recipe, please post your desired final product in this thread and we will assist you in finding a recipe.
