Upcoming "Events" should be very obvious

A local SCA Event (i.e., not website calendar event) is "a big thing".
Events within a 2 month horizon should be prominently displayed.  A link to the event should be on the home page in a prominent location at a minimum.  A 1 to 3 sentence blurb about it would be even better.
